Although there are brier patches on this trail, they are not as bad as you might think. Takes hikers from FS 68 to the Conasauga River Trail near Panther Creek. More Georgia Trails

At the top: Wood ducks are among the most colorful ducks found in Georgia. When their species was threatened by over-hunting at the start of the 20th century the United States launched one of the first wildlife protection acts. We spotted this duck at the reservoir at Sweetwater State Park
